Answers Questions Never Asked

Well, in the previous blog(read it once if you haven't), I talked about the desire paradox, and at the end, things revolved around fate and astrology. Without even realizing it, I became the victim of fatalism. The moment it hit me, it shook me from within. I, who believe that I am investing a significant amount of time being practical and reasonable, simply let everything be around fate? Really? But I am here to bust the myth I created in my head. This blog is my personal space. This is where I write down how I feel at the moment, and it's raw. Well paraphrased, if any grammatical errors, but you understand the gist. So the one who actually reads the blog is with me. With me in my consciousness, with me evolving, with me witnessing how I evolve, and to some extent creating karma for themselves with the energy. Now shifting things a little bit to come to a point, cause that's what a storyteller does. My dad used to say to read books. He got all sorts of books from finance t...

City Chaos and Cat Charisma: My Brooklyn Adventure

Hey readers, missed me? I bet you did, because I sure missed you. I’ve been out and about lately, so couldn’t write much (not that anyone’s waiting on the edge of their seat, right?). Anyway, it’s August 12th today, but I’m about to spill the tea on August 10th—what a day that was! My sisters and I decided to hit up the Brooklyn Bridge, but let’s rewind a bit.

First, we went to meet this cat named Eve. Oh my gosh, she’s such a diva! Seriously, “sassy” is the perfect word for her. She’s the boss, no doubt about it. If she’s not happy, she’ll throw a fit, but if she senses you’re down, she’ll be right there to comfort you. Her emotional intelligence is better than at least half the guys out there. And you know what? She’s a total character—get this, she’s an iPad baby! Play a video on her iPad, and she’s entertained for the day. I was so shocked. I mean, how does a cat even get it?

Now, I’m not really a cat person, and honestly, I don’t know much about them. But one thing I’m sure of is that you don’t keep a cat—they keep you. You know what I mean? I once heard someone say that if you take care of a dog, they think, “Wow, humans must be gods.” But cats? They’re like, “Maybe I’m the god here.” I don’t remember where I heard that, but I love it, and it feels so true.

So back to our day—we made it to the Brooklyn Bridge area. It was chaotic but had this kind of peaceful vibe too. We took some photos, wandered around the park, and of course, we had to get ice cream. There were so many flavors, I couldn’t decide! Which is weird because usually, I’m super decisive. Making decisions is my thing. But ever since I got here, it’s been so hard and confusing, like there’s too much to take in. The other day, I was at the store with Thulmamu, and I wanted juice—any juice. I grabbed a can, and it turned out to be sparkling water. Back in Nepal, was I even making decisions, or were there just no options?

And it’s not just about food or drinks—it’s everything. Like, most people there are either engineers or doctors. Is it because that’s what they truly want, or because there aren’t many other options to explore? It’s kind of concerning, or maybe I’m just overthinking it. Who knows?

Anyway, the day was amazing. After taking some photos and enjoying our ice cream, we went to the Time Out Market. Oh my goodness, the crowd was insane! I’ve never seen such a packed food court (okay, that might be a lie because the lines at Nepali weddings are wild, but you get what I mean). We had pizza, baby corn, and some dumplings. The taste was different, obviously, but it was good. Still, I kind of miss the restaurants in Nepal—the flavors I’m used to. I’m enjoying the new tastes, but it’s a bit weird, you know?

After lunch, we went back to see the cat. She was still on her iPad, so cute! And then, I got my tarot cards read. I’ve always been curious about how tarot works, but it’s like when you believe in the energy of the universe, the cards align accordingly—it’s all about energy. I asked about my career and love life—because who doesn’t want to know about that? But the readings? They’re top secret, sorry!

So that’s it for today. My blogs haven’t been super fresh lately—my bad—but from now on, they’re gonna be lit. See ya!
